The Town is situated at the end of a three mile spur off State Highway 145 in a dramatic box canyon. Historic Telluride adjoins the Telluride Ski Resort on its southern border and is surrounded by the twelve and thirteen thousand foot peaks of the Uncompahgre National Forest.
